Frequently Asked Questions About TTC
1) "How Does One Join TTC?"
-Potential new members can contact us here at our website. They're also recruited online, and at public social functions that TTC sisters and their friends host. New members are also recruited through the recommendation of a TTC sister.
2) "How Much Does It Cost to Join TTC?"
-There is no cost to join TTC.
3) "What Racial/Ethnic Mixes are represented at TTC?"
-We are a very diverse group, and there are many different ethnic backgrounds that are represented at TTC. Our common thread is that, in our diversity, we all are of partial African/African-American descent, and we come together as sisters at TTC in celebrating all of our heritages.
4) "Is This a Sorority?"
-No, TTC is not a sorority/women's fraternity. We do not have secret meetings to determine whether or not to accept new members, we do not engage in any sorts of hazing activities, nor do we have rituals and/or other procedures for new members to follow in order to be "accepted" into our sisterhood.
5) "How Involved Must I Be In Order to Remain a Member of TTC?"
-Your degree of involvement in TTC's activities is entirely up to you. We do not require that you participate in any part of TTC in order to remain a member of TTC. However, we stress that what you wish to get out of TTC from being a member also depends on the degree of your activity at the group, as well as the contributions you make to the group. (*basically put, "you get from it what you put into it.")
6) "What Are The Age Requirements for New Members to Join TTC?"
-TTC has members from a variety of age ranges. Our only requirement is that new members be at least 18 years of age.
7) "How Can I Get Other Biracial/Multiracial Women and Young Ladies to join TTC?"
-Pass Along Our Website! We welcome them to join us!
